MAIN MISSION In order to develop and improve the EMEA Regional Team, Wabtec is looking for a new talent! His /Her mission: - Contribute to the improvement of supplier QCD performance - Support the Regional team and local teams on specific cost reduction projects - Contribute to the analysis and reduction of the carbon footprint of the commodity RESPONSABILITIES Supplier Performances * Contribute to the improvement of supplier performance (quality and delivery). Purchasing KPI's * Manage and report purchasing KPI's. * Analyze KPI's to find critical area and to define specific actions of improvement. Supplier Panel * Contribute to the definition and maintenance of Machining, Casting & Forging supplier panel based on long-term strategy, compliant to the needs of the different Wabtec Sites and able to guarantee Product Competitivity. Cost reduction * Lead specific cost reduction initiatives: re-sourcing, technical saving, standardization, negotiations, should cost. Manage initiatives from the idea to the implementation dealing with other functions (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain) and with different production Sites in Europe. Decarbonization * Contribute to the implementation of a reliable tool to calculate the Carbon footprint of the Commodity * Implement specific actions with Suppliers to reduce Carbon emissions

Ihr Profil:

EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, Engineering / technical background is preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE - A Previous Stage in a structured Company is a plus COMPETENCES REQUIRED - Basic knowledge of Mechanical Drawing - Basic knowledge of industrial production processes for metal parts - Basic knowledge of Company Organization and main target of the different Directions - Excellent analysis and synthesis skills - Excellent use of Excel LANGUAGES - Fluent English SOFT SKILLS - High flexibility and adaptation - Good communication - Problem solving and Creativity - Accountability and Reliability - Desire to learn and improve himself and the Company - Excellent ability to create internal and external relations - Teamwork attitude
