On behalf of our client, аn international manufacturing company specializing in the development and production of electronic equipment and industrial solutions, we are looking for:

Junior Supply Chain Specialist

Position purpose:

As a Junior Supply Chain Specialist, you will support the planning and purchasing activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and components for production and customer orders. The role combines elements of purchasing and production planning, requiring close cooperation with suppliers and internal teams to monitor material availability, production schedules, and deliveries.

Your tasks:

* Supporting the planning and scheduling of purchase, internal, and production orders according to business needs.
* Monitoring material availability and reviewing MRP messages to identify potential shortages or delays.
* Preparing and sending requests for quotations to suppliers regarding price, delivery times, and stock availability.
* Following up on purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and expected delays.
* Supporting the resolution of material-related issues, including shortages, delivery delays, and urgent requirements.
* Collaborating with Production, Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and other internal teams to ensure smooth planning and material availability.
* Supporting the release and monitoring of production orders and following up on their timely completion.
* Maintaining accurate purchasing and planning data in the ERP system.
* Supporting the maintenance of planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, safety stock levels, and planning codes.
* Supporting and performing other operational supply chain tasks as required.

Your Profile:

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, logistics, or a similar role; relevant internships or graduate experience are considered an advantage.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Good analytical and organizational skills.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
* Willingness to learn and develop within the areas of purchasing and supply chain planning.
