Get in the driver's seat

As an Operations Buyer, you will ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of production materials and services to support manufacturing operations and business continuity.

Working across Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Finance, you will manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and material availability, ensuring uninterrupted production, optimized inventory levels, and operational excellence.

Where you'll make an impact

Manage operational purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers.
Create, monitor, and maintain purchase orders to ensure on-time material delivery.
Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, deliveries, and shipment schedules.
Resolve delivery delays, shortages, and supply-related issues to minimize production risks.
Collaborate with Production Planning, Logistics, and Engineering to ensure material availability.
Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate purchasing data, pricing, and supplier information in the ERP system.
Support inventory optimization while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Participate in supplier meetings and contribute to operational procurement projects.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and company policies.

What are your core components

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in operational purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to analyze data, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving supply issues.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional proficiency in English; Croatian is considered an advantage.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Experience in the automotive industry is considered an advantage.

Salary range: EUR35,000 - EUR50,000 gross per year (depending on experience)
