Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The Load Builder (LB) is responsible for creating loads with accurate resources and with the lowest cost shipments Loads for (COMPANY NAME) Foods Canada (PFC), driving gold-standard customer service and maintaining site performance metrics through the use of standard processes and best practices. The LB will be expected to partner with other LBs in GBS and with site and region Leadership.

Your Impact

As LOAD BUILDER your functions would consist of:
* Create day-to-day loads for Frito Lay Canada, assign carriers and optimize load with the Plano, TX team until all loads are tendered.
* DPS administration by naming and adjusting time loads, assigning trailer type, and placing comments for load instructions.
* Planning of used cardboard loads between plants.
* Costco Depot planning for Alliance Quebec Repacker.
* Tracking for Inbound loads.
* Build Switches Loads plan between plants
* Customer communications - share coversheets, adjust load sequences according to Holiday schedules, request for ETA's.
* Build Reports for KPI's Performances
* Confirmation of Loads Completion
* Backfill other LBs on vacations

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Experience
* Minimum 1 year of experience in the transportation sector/Supply Chain /Supply Planning
* English (Fluent/Advanced)
* Sense of urgency, results-oriented.
* Decision-making and teamwork skills.
* Advanced Excel proficiency.
* Demonstrated Capability of the SAP solution
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications and Power BI
* French would be an additional asset for this position.
Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment and KPI's knowledge.
