Logistics Manager
Purpose of the role:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of logistics planning, execution, and performance for the Spanish market. The role ensures market continuity, regulatory compliance, inventory control & optimization, and cost efficiency, acting as a key contact to the market and as the main interface between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Distributor, and Global Supply Chain (GSC).
Operating in a highly complex market environment, the role requires strong ownership, cross-functional coordination, and high accountability to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
As a logistics manager you will:
Demand, Supply & Inventory Management:
* Translate commercial forecasts into executable supply and logistics plans
* Ensure alignment across S&OP cycles and key business assumptions
* Define and manage inventory strategies (coverage, ageing, free cash flow)
* Identify supply risks and drive mitigation actions
* Ensure readiness for price changes, launches, and commercial initiatives
Distributor & Market Execution Management
* Own operational relationship with distributor ensuring execution excellence
* Monitor inbound flows, stocks, and service performance
* Manage and resolve execution issues and supply disruptions
* Drive continuous alignment between distributor operations and market needs
Regulatory, Tax Stamp & Compliance Accountability
* Ensure full compliance with Track & Trace, tax stamps, and local regulations
* Guarantee adherence to QMS, audit requirements, and internal controls
* Act as key contact for audits and compliance topics within logistics scope
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
* Monitor logistics performance (service, stock, write-offs, cost)
* Identify optimization opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives
* Contribute to process harmonization across Iberia cluster
* Support automation and digitalization (reporting, planning tools)
Data Integrity, Planning Governance & Reporting
* Own logistics data accuracy and consistency across planning systems
* Ensure integrity of IBP / SAP planning cycles
* Validate key data shared with Finance, GSC, and stakeholders
* Act as data owner for logistics in Spain
Requirements:
* University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance or similar
* 5-8+ years in logistics / supply planning / supply chain roles
* English required
* Spanish is an advantage
* SAP (IBP / planning tools) & advanced Excel
* Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
* Cross-functional stakeholder management
* Ability to manage complexity and fast-changing environments
* Experience with Power BI / reporting automation is a plus
