Role Overview

The Temasek China Investment Team is looking for an off-cycle intern to join our Shanghai/Beijing office for a period of up to 6 months.

Responsibilities

* Interns will have the opportunity to take on various responsibilities from market study to deal analysis to portfolio monitoring, across different sectors and stages.
* Interns will be involved in the day-to-day activities of Temasek China investment teams and will be able to gain invaluable experience in a fast-moving diverse investment environment, through active involvement on ongoing transactions.
* Interns will be able to explore and initiate the adoption of relevant AI-enabled and/or RPA tools (e.g. ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, etc).

Ideal Candidate

* Undergraduate or postgraduate students majoring in STEM subjects are encouraged to apply.
* Prior internship experience in investment banking, consulting, or any other experiences relevant for the role.
* Passionate about investing, analytical, and comfortable working with data.
* Driven to deliver and have a global mindset.
* Proficiency with Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
* Driven and self-motivated and embraces the Temasek MERITT Values.

Internship Commitment

Period: July to December 2026
Minimum Commitment: Full-Time (5 days onsite per week) preferred, but open to Part-Time (at least 3 to 4 days onsite per week)
Location: Shanghai/Beijing
