China Compliance Intern (007087)

Objectives:
We are looking for a compliance intern who will provide a wide range of administrative and secretarial support as well as legal support in order to effectively facilitate daily operations of Regional/China Compliance team. The candidate should be proactive and diligent and understand business and operation needs of the organization. She/he should be detail oriented and excited to work collaboratively in an excellent compliance team.

Main Tasks:
* Support China Social Credit System daily operation, coordinate on data collection and consolidation from various legal entities and manage the data up to date;
* Support compliance case investigation on the work compliance counsel assigned;
* Support data compliance work in China (e.g. Personal Information Protection, AI, etc.)
* Collect, summarize and consolidate relevant business and compliance data into reports, and establish and maintain paper filing and e-filing systems for China Compliance team；
* Translate and proof-read bilingual compliance/legal documents;
* Draft, review basic compliance related documents;
* Schedule appointments, make arrangement for meetings, workshops, etc.
* Assist in preparing charts, meeting minutes and presentation slides and other materials for China compliance team;
* Provide support with general guidance on a variety of legal projects and activities;
* Support other administrative tasks assigned by Vice President, Compliance Counsels in the Department.

Job Requirements:
* Education: Legal education background, major in law, first year of Master is preferred
* Working Experience: Not required
* Technical & Professional Knowledge: Fluent in both oral and written English; proficient in MS office tools
* Others: Team player and highly responsible work attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills
