About this opportunity

Ericsson Research Compute and Software Finland is looking for driven and creative Summer Interns to join our team of world-class professionals. In this role, you will work together with our global team, defining mobile communication. Our diverse team collaborate intensively with other research and development organizations, both within and outside the company. We have access to and collaborate with world leading specialists in our field of work.

Our work involves crafting IPR, offer insights, and provide compute and software related expertise to impact Ericsson business and products, to enable the journey to 6G and beyond. Our team is addressing observability and exposure, Large Language Models, generative AI, confidential computing and compute isolation, as well as standardization in the context mobile networks.

You will

* Do state of the art research on topics mentioned above
* Create, prototype and benchmark new concepts, and
* Disseminate results in internal and external events - a very important aspect of the work we do!

What will you bring:

* Excellent social, collaboration, communication and innovation skills with high energy and motivation
* Analytical thinking combined with a healthy dose of creativity
* Proficiency with computer science toolset, such as git / gitops, linux, algorithms and data structures, command-line scripting, etc.
* Ongoing studies in data science, computer science, telecom or related degree
