Job Description
You will join our SBSR team, in charge of the second line of defense related to structural balance sheet risks, within the framework of financial management and the main business lines of the bank. We are looking for a balance sheet structural risk analyst for a internship of 6 months from September 2025.
Within the Risk stream supervised by the CRO ("Chief Risk Officer"), a member of the Natixis Management Committee, you will join the SBSR department ("Structural Balance Sheet Risk"), which covers the supervision of structural risks on the balance sheet, notably the liquidity risk, the rate and credit spread risk of the Banking Book, as well as the structural exchange rate risk and other regulatory ratios.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be as follows:
* Assess the bank's risk appetite for structural balance sheet risks and set/approve limits.
* Conduct an independent assessment of the structural risk profile of the balance sheet and analyze the adequacy of the first-level risk management system of Financial Management (governance, methods, etc.).
* Conduct various studies on structural risks (flow conventions, implicit options, IRRBB, CSRBB, etc.) and ad hoc analyses (new products or activities, market environment, etc.).
* Produce balance sheet structural risk statements for senior management and represent the risk function in ALM/Treasury/Liquidity buffer/CRM/CCN Committees, etc.
* Conduct permanent second-level controls on structural risk indicators.
* Ensure the production of risk reports for monitoring the limits produced by SRO.
* Articulate the SRO function of Natixis Head Office with the equivalent functions of local platforms and subsidiaries/branches, if applicable, as well as with Groupe BPCE, in order to ensure consistency and homogeneity of the arrangements.
* Write and update the documentary corpus (charters, policies, procedures) of the function.
* Ensure a watch on the compliance of the framework system with regulatory requirements.
By assisting the SBSR Risk Management in strengthening the balance sheet structural risk monitoring system (rate and liquidity) under the responsibility of a risk manager, you will have the following responsibilities :
* Contribute to periodic variation analyses of risk positions disseminated to senior management, whether on business consumption or on financing and off-balance sheet.
* Strengthen risk position variation analyses through the design and development of specific tools.
* Document your analyses and specific tools.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
Student at the BAC+5 level, you are preparing a degree from a major business or engineering school, with a specialization in Finance.
You are able to manipulate data, design and develop databases using languages and tools such as Python, Excel, VBA and SQL, and present the results via PowerPoint and Power BI.
