Introduction

We are looking for a motivated Financial Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support cost accounting, financial planning, reporting, and analysis processes, partnering with business units and geographies to provide accurate forecasts, budgets, and performance insights. You will analyze financial statements, evaluate business trends, and prepare reports and recommendations to support decision-making.

Your Role And Responsibilities

* Analyze IBM's forecasts, budgets, actuals, and key business metrics.
* Develop and deliver variance analyses (forecast vs. actual, budget vs. actual).
* Prepare financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial performance and trends.
* Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in reporting.
* Proactivity, very good interpersonal relationship, good team player, sense of urgency.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
* Foundational understanding of financial and accounting principles, with an interest in developing knowledge in corporate finance, financial analysis, and business operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present data effectively.
* Advanced to fluent English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
* Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
