Internship: Product Compliance (IT)

Job Description

As a Product Compliance Intern, you will gain a deeper insight into the current regulatory landscape. During this internship you will work on a project related to the optimization of the internal IT tools and data management. You will act as a valuable source of support to the Product Stewardship department. Our main task is to respond to all regulatory compliance-related questions and requests during the product development & distribution activities of the products within the Label and Graphic Materials portfolio (for both existing and new applications).

Your main tasks will be the following:
* Optimize IT tools and data management practices within the compliance team
* Update existing scripts to expand their functionality and redundancy as well as develop new tools
* Support daily customer compliance questions
* Communicate with internal stakeholders on product compliance topics to understand the needs and provide support
Furthermore, you will be supporting other ad hoc tasks on projects currently run by the product stewardship department.
The preferred start date is August 15th, 2024. The ideal candidate is available 4-5 days a week for 6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week

Qualifications

What kind of candidate are we looking for?
* Someone currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science in a Dutch university, or in a related scientific/technical field with a good knowledge of coding
* Someone with good knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript /Python/C++), Google Apps Script is a big plus
* Someone with good communication skills in English and able to work in a changing and dynamic environment.
* Someone who is a quick learner and a creative problem solver
* Someone who can work in diverse teams and is not afraid to ask questions
