As our Quality and Food Safety Intern, you will be part of the Quality and Food Safety (QFS) team, who is End to End responsible in ensuring that effective QFS standards are in place and maintained to ensure excellence in execution throughout our value chain. The team safeguards & monitors the quality, safety and integrity of the products of the Nutricia Worldwide business unit by providing support and advice. Our ambition is to; Excel in Quality & Food Safety everywhere, everyday". To achieve this, we rely on a wide variety of standards, procedures, and processes. As our intern, you will help us designing and implementing these standards in the daily operations.
You will be responsible for
* Assessing current procedures;
* Consulting stakeholders;
* Identifying gaps and options for improvements;
* Optimizing ways of working within the local and global Danone environment.

Master’s student in Food Quality Management, Food Safety, or another related backgrounds with affinity for Quality & Food Safety Management System. You are self-motivated and proactive person and you possess a good sense of ownership to bring the task to a successful completion. You present critical thinking and you are well-organized and independent. We expect you to be fluent in English (written and spoken) and proficient in Spanish. Additional Russian is considered a plus.

Key requirements:
* Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
* Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
* For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
* Available to start in March 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written) and proficient in Spanish.
* Able to work from our Rijswijk office at least 1 day per week
