Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

As a Global Sustainability Trainee, you will support global activities in Social Responsibility & Supply Chain, while closely collaborating with an international team. You support us in our mission to be a role model in sustainability with a focus on raw material due diligence.
* Responsible Sourcing: Help ensure conflict-free supply chains with special focus on conflict minerals
* Supplier Management: Review and assessment of conflict minerals supplier reporting documents and maintaining supplier communication
* Customer Support: Support in evaluating and responding to raw material specific customer inquiries
* Risk management processes: Support of our risk management processes in relation to high-risk raw materials in Infineon's supply chains to drive responsible sourcing and law compliance
* Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting: Conduct raw material specific data gathering and analyses, as well as preparation; Data gathering and analysis to develop sustainability insights that support raw material due diligence initiatives
* Research and Benchmarking: Research sustainable raw materials management practices and trends, including benchmarks
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You are curious and interested in a broad range of topics, and are proactive and self-motivated, and eager to learn so that you can help further develop a forward-looking field. You demonstrate high-quality standards for your work and are enthusiastic about Sustainability.
You are best equipped for this role if you have:
* Educational Background: A degree in Sustainability Management, Geo Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Mining, Economics (with a focus on Supply Chain), or a related field
* Experience: Initial practical experience in sustainability, sustainable supply chain management or related fields is a plus
* Data Analysis Skills: Very good data analytical skills (mandatory)
* Tools: Very good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint (mandatory)
* Personal Skills: You have great communication skills and a structured and systematic working style, while being pragmatic and analytic. You find inspiration in teamwork, collaborating with your colleagues on the big picture
* Language Skills: Fluency in English
