About the Team
The Global Operations Development team is a small and agile group consisting of two Project Managers and the Global Logistics Development Director. We act as Gant's internal development expert function for global operations, driving strategic and cross-functional projects that develop and optimize the company's supply chain. Our work spans a wide range of initiatives, from warehouse network optimization and new logistics and distribution setups to sustainability transition projects. In short, we focus on enabling Gant's operations to perform at their best, today and in the future.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with logistics, sourcing, etc
* Report to project manager
* Support procurement of inbound/outbound distribution setup.
* Help with analysis and benchmarking for logistics concepts.
* Support implementation plan for 3PL setup.
* Work on sustainability activities (climate transition focus).
* Business case development, data gathering/structuring, preparing presentations.
* Project documentation and follow-up tasks
