Your role

Are you interested in working on reports and projects that relate to Risk, ESG, or wider Real Asset Fund and Asset information? Are you interested in getting to know the Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) business within (COMPANY NAME) Asset Management?

We're looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst intern to work together with our operational, investment and risk specialists in streamlining data and building front end reports. Some of the key responsibilities include

* Deliver key Risk and MIS metrics and connect them with our wider ESG initiatives.
* Coordinate and consolidate standard asset, performance & transaction data for reporting / MIS purposes
* Structure data sets required for key and ad hoc data requests for internal stakeholders
* Help identify new ways of preparing and processing existing information and data
* Collaborate across REPM functions (Business Management & Operations (BMO), Investment Specialists, ESG) on identifying new and existing data requirements
* Support with structuring data visualizations and daily data requests from the business

Your team

You'll be working in the Business Management & Operations area of the Real Estate & Private Markets (REPM) team in Zurich. We're a central team of three people engaging in various activities ranging from regular business reviews, standard MIS and Asset reporting, as well as engaging in business & data project related work supporting REPMs Head of BMO and the wider business. We work autonomously and are flexible as a team, but also encourage open communication when it comes to collaborating and working as a team with our REPM and AM colleagues.

Your expertise

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor's degree or have obtained your master's degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have

* Good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
* A gift for using numerical analysis, statistics and financial mathematics to solve practical problems
* Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
* A good command of Microsoft Office and Alteryx and are a fast learner when it comes to new IT products. Some experience with PowerBI would be preferred
* Excellent German and English (written and oral)
