The Team:
VME practices are the means by which we continue to bring our deep financial, economics and analytics skills to bear in order to support our clients with better decision-making involving transactions, funding capital expansion and optimizing capital efficiency (such as capital allocation to help adjust risk, cash release opportunity, capital budgeting with skill sets on measuring and valuating not just assets but also litigation or life).

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare analyses of historical and pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation.
* Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information.
* Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring.
* Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
* Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.

Skills and Attributes for Success:
* Pursuing university degree related to Accountancy or Economics.
* Demonstrated passion in or basic knowledge of visualization techniques and tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire) and data sourcing/capture, data preparation and data transformation techniques. This passion could be demonstrated via university projects, internships, conferences, self-study, etc.
* Basic understanding of analytical techniques and tools for predictive and descriptive analytics. E.g. R, Python, VBA, Alteryx. Python preferred. Any practical experience during and outside of school would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with machine learning and optimization techniques, cloud technologies and DevOps tools are considered a plus.
