mscope is an early-stage startup applying proprietary AI to Microeconomics & Finance to help institutional investors identify highly promising SMEs and accelerate their growth. Backed by strong investors & partners across the fintech sector, we've built a suite of 4 disruptive SaaS products using cutting-edge technology: AWS Cloud, EMR Cluster for Big Data, exploitation of AI models, web dev environments, etc. As you can imagine, product quality is of the essence.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative Product Design Intern to join our Product team. As a key member of our Product team, you will have the opportunity to work on real environment and gain hands-on experience in user-centered design for software products used by businesses.
What we offer
* Participate in user research and contribute to the analysis of customer needs and behaviors
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into visually appealing & user-friendly designs
* Assist in the design and creation of wireframes, prototypes & high-fidelity front-ends
* Stay up to date with the latest design trends and techniques, and share your knowledge and ideas with the team
* Assist in the identification of potential improvements for our products and participate in the product roadmap: put yourself in the client's shoes, think & decide about what the product should deliver from a design perspective
* Learn as much as you want about the world of alternative investment
What we're looking for
* Currently pursuing or cursing a bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
* Personal portfolio of your work that demonstrates your design skills and problem-solving abilities
* Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
* Familiarity with design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent)
* Ability to create rapid prototypes and improve designs
* Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
* Fluency (C1) in both Spanish and English

Internship requirements
* Duration: Jan-June 2024
* Dedication: 20-35h/week
* Location: Hybrid, with offices in Madrid's Salamanca district
