Job Summary:**

The VPS Trainee will participate in a structured program designed to develop foundational knowledge and practical skills within Valeo Production System (VPS) principles and methodologies. This role supports various departments in optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring adherence to Valeo's operational standards.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Learn and apply Valeo Production System (VPS) tools and methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Standardized Work, SMED, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping.
* Support the implementation and monitoring of VPS initiatives across production lines and operational areas.
* Participate in workshops, training sessions, and continuous improvement projects.
* Collect and analyze data related to production performance, waste reduction, and efficiency metrics.
* Assist in identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within manufacturing processes.
* Collaborate with production teams, engineering, and quality departments to facilitate VPS deployment.
* Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and results.
* Contribute to the development and standardization of best practices.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Job Qualifications:**

* Recent graduate or final-year student in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or a strong willingness to learn.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proactive attitude with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
