R&D LABORATORY ENGINEER

As a VIE R&D Laboratory Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and supporting the development of new materials and processes. This role offers a hands-on experience in a dynamic R&D environment, contributing to product innovation and process optimization. Key Responsibilities Experimental Design and Execution: - Plan and perform experiments related to materials development and process improvement. - Prepare and analyze samples using various laboratory techniques. - Ensure tests are conducted accurately and efficiently. Data Analysis and Reporting: - Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data. - Prepare technical reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings. - Assist in drawing conclusions and making recommendations based on test results. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: - Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. - Ensure equipment is functioning properly and adhere to safety protocols. Collaboration and Support: - Work closely with research engineers and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. - Support the implementation of 5S practices and safety standards within the lab. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations

Candidate Requirements:

Skills & Requirements Education: Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Languages: Fluent in English (required); French proficiency is a plus. Technical Skills: - Understanding of laboratory testing methods and materials characterization techniques. - Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, technical software). - Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment operation and maintenance. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective written and verbal communication for technical reporting. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
