Job Description:

CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.

CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

THE ROLE

As CMA Ships sets up new fleet teams in India, this V.I.E. provides day-to-day support to those teams on the business-process side. Working alongside the new Mumbai-based fleet teams, the role helps them take ownership of CMA Ships' operating processes and tools, relays their needs and feedback to the relevant departments, and contributes to process improvements, including simple AI-enabled use cases.

This is a junior support and coordination role; project ownership and the technical relationship with the ERP development teams remain with the responsible CMA Ships managers.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

* Comply with IMS and all relevant international rules and regulations;

* Ensure all your duties are in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;

* Support the newly created fleet teams in India in applying CMA Ships' business processes on a day-to-day basis;

* Help explain, document and roll out operating procedures, good practices and supporting materials to those teams;

* Collect and relay the business needs, questions and feedback of the India fleet teams to the relevant CMA Ships departments;

* Ensure the Growth Anticipation Plan coordination and reporting on site;

* Support audit and investigation teams for HO on site;

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, including helping to identify simple AI-enabled use cases (automation, data, decision support), under the guidance of the project owners;

* Assist in preparing user guides, quick reference sheets and basic training for the fleet teams;

* Help follow up open points and prepare regular activity reporting for your manager;

* Be assigned additional tasks and responsibilities as applicable.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

* Master's degree (engineering school, business school or university) in business, operations, information systems, supply chain or equivalent;

* Interest in business-process organisation and in the practical use of digital tools, including AI;

* Comfortable using everyday business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning new tools;

* Fluent English mandatory (working language in India); French an asset.

* Eligible for the French V.I.E. scheme:

* aged 18 to 28 inclusive on the date the contract is signed;

* national of the European Economic Area;

* in compliance with the national service obligations of the country of origin.

* First experience or internship in operations, process support or a coordination role is appreciated; a recent graduate profile is welcome.

* Any exposure to the maritime or shipping environment is a plus.
