For more information, please visit www.nexans.com MISSION CONTEXT Nexans is expanding its finance operations in South Korea with a new V.I.E position to support the growing manufacturing and business operations in Seoul. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to develop professional expertise in international financial management within a dynamic, multinational environment. POSITION: V.I.E GRADUATE ACCOUNTANT - KOREA LOCATION: Seoul, South Korea DEPARTMENT: Finance DIRECT REPORT: Korea Senior Finance Manager DURATION: 12-24 months START DATE: [To be confirmed] MISSION OBJECTIVES The primary objectives of this role are to: 1. Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements for the manufacturing division, including analysis of manufacturing variances, fixed costs, volumes and product mix performance. 2. Provide daily performance measures and reporting on factory operations, product mix and scrap analysis to support operational decision-making. 3. Analyse and comment on financial information to deliver precise, clear and consistent performance indicators for assigned perimeters, including actual results, forecasts and budgets across product lines and markets. 4. Deploy and implement financial processes, policies and tools across the organization, providing clarifications and guidance to finance teams and business managers. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Finance Organisation Support: * Consolidate financial indicators, reporting and dashboards while ensuring consistency * Support the development of dashboards and KPI reporting * Verify accuracy of financial data through consistency checks * Identify and implement process improvements * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on Finance ERPs Forecast and Planning: * Contribute to monthly reporting on rolling forecasts and year-end outlook * Support budget establishment and maintenance Business Performance and Partnering: * Perform financial analysis on key performance indicators * Monitor performance against budget and forecasts by analyzing deviations * Conduct customer and product profitability analysis * Participate in cross-functional projects * Respond to ad hoc analytical requests Internal Control: * Enforce Nexans group financial procedures and adapt policies to local context * Support internal and external audit processes * Assist in implementing Nexans policies and control systems * Assess and enhance internal control environments * Prepare corrective action plans addressing control gaps General: * Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Nexans H&S policies * Demonstrate commitment to Nexans core values * Perform additional duties as assigned EXPECTED OUTCOMES Financial Control & Results Accuracy: * All relevant financial reports completed on time with accurate information * Accounting processes executed efficiently and in compliance with timelines * Swift response to site needs ensuring operational requirements are met Team Player: * Foster a respectful, inclusive work environment * Build harmonious relationships with stakeholders across the organization * Contribute to operational efficiency and liquidity improvement Accountability: * Work to established benchmarks and deadlines * Complete all departmental processes in accordance with specifications * Meet all deadlines and objectives set by manager * Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations Operating Excellence: * Plan duties strategically to ensure timely completion of responsibilities * Execute allocated tasks to the highest standard within required timeframes REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Academic/Technical Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards Knowledge and Experience: * Intermediate level expertise in accounting and financial analysis; autonomous in core responsibilities * SAP experience highly desirable * Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and cost analysis preferred * Experience with financial systems and reporting tools Communication Skills: * Fluent in both English and Korean (written and verbal) - Essential * Ability to liaise professionally with all departments * Strong capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to resolve business requirements * Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills Attitudes and Behaviour: * Ability to work autonomously while delivering value-added results * Committed to following and enforcing business processes and standards * Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic international environment * Excellent time management and deadline management skills * Proactive in promoting workplace safety * Flexible approach to changing business needs * Strong problem-solving abilities with accountability for own work Personal Traits: * High attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills * Friendly, customer-focused and team-oriented mindset * Well-organized with strong planning abilities * Positive "can do" attitude * Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment 2026 FINANCIAL CONTEXT The Korea facility represents significant growth potential for Nexans, with 2026 budgeted net sales of EUR58.0M, EBITDA target of EUR2.8M and Operating Free Cash Flow projection of EUR5.2M.
