Job Description:

Responsibilities

Within SGCIB, you will join as VIE our Global Banking and Advisory branch (GLBA). The VIE position is situated in Energy and Infrastructure Department (GLBA/INF/EPG), structure that offers a broad range of products to our client, whether corporate or public, including capital-raising, risk management and advisory, in various services as Project Finance.

The VIE will join the Madrid INF/EPG team. He or she will have to perform the tasks of an Analyst and will work alongside the team to provide support to the senior originators.

As a VIE, you will have exposure to senior originators in charge of Infrastructure and Energy business and hence the opportunity to be closely involved in the structuring of complex project finance transactions in all aspects of the business, modeling, documentation, credit review and marketing actions of the team. In addition, you will be trained by other members of the junior pool and will learn a lot about project finance products and practices.

Amongst other responsibilities :

* Pipeline and reporting update
* Modeling
* Credit applications and credit review
* Sectorial analysis
* Portfolio review and analysis
* Administrative tasks

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that it is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

* Graduate with a Bachelor or Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
* You ideally have a previous experience in another area of CIB, in infrastructure or renewable sector or any modeling/cash flow projection

Language skills:

* Fluent in English and Spanish

Technical, operational & soft skills:

* Good communication and presentation skills
* Proficient/Good command of MS Office (especially Excel)

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Madrid is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
