Job Description:
As a Payroll Apprentice, you will support the Payroll team in the accurate and timely delivery of payroll activities for France.
This role offers a hands-on learning experience, allowing you to build a strong understanding of payroll operations, French payroll regulations, and internal processes within an international organisation.
You will work closely with and be supported by a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Manager, contributing to high standards of compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement across payroll practices.

Profile & Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant programme (Licence or Master in Accounting, HR, Payroll, or equivalent);
- Strong attention to detail, with a rigorous and reliable approach to numbers;
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information;
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and standard office tools;
- A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively;
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
Contract Details
Contract type: Apprenticeship (Contrat d'apprentissage);
Duration: 12 months;
Start date: September-October, with the possibility to start earlier;
Location: Paris, France
- Assist with payroll calculations and data preparation
- Support the preparation and verification of monthly payslips, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Participate in monthly payroll closing activities
- Assist with termination files, including final pays, certificates, and required documentation
- Track and process absences, including paid leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, and other statutory leaves
- Support the follow-up of Social Security reimbursements
- Assist with social contributions and payroll reconciliations
- Respond to employee payroll-related questions, under supervision
- Support filing, document control, and payroll record management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures
