About the Function:

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships. It's fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers' hands, you'll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.

About the role:
To assist qualified mechanical artisans with maintenance, installation, and repair of machinery while gaining practical experience and completing technical training toward becoming a qualified artisan.

Role Responsibilities:
* Assist with installation and assembly of mechanical equipment and machinery.
* Help perform preventive maintenance on machines and mechanical systems.
* Support technicians during machine breakdowns and repairs.
* Assist with dismantling, repairing, and reassembling mechanical components.
* Use tools and equipment such as spanners, grinders, drills, and measuring tools.
* Help inspect machines to identify wear, damage, or mechanical faults.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical diagrams.
* Lubricate and maintain gears, bearings, pumps, conveyors, and motors.
* Maintain clean and safe work areas according to safety regulations.
* Follow workplace health and safety standards.

Experience / skills required:
* Grade 12 / Matric
* Mathematics and Physical Science (recommended)
* N2-N6 Mechanical Engineering qualification
* Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools
* Ability to work in industrial environment.
