Our Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships
Our apprenticeships allow you to study for industry-recognised qualifications whilst earning a competitive salary. As an apprentice, you will study with a training provider, such as a university, and combine this experience with real responsibilities in the workplace. Your study pattern could be day or block release, or via distance learning, depending on the course that you enrol on. A dedicated mentor will guide you through your personal and professional development. Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships have a typical duration of 3- 6 years, during which you will attain both a professional and academic qualification to further your career. Our apprentices are employed on a permanent basis, so you'll continue to progress with Arup once you've completed your course.

You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients. While you'll have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills.
Railway engineering design technicians will use and apply engineering principles and techniques, to make decisions, solve problems, often across a range of disciplines such as signalling, rolling stock, track, systems, civil engineering, communications, electrification or electrical plant. They will also support in the development and production, analysis and planning of railway engineering designs that inform others, either internally or externally, where designs are utilised to construct, maintain or improve rail systems. Some technicians will also support in the surveying and checking of progress and quality factors of the technical design works on site. You'll help us to deliver effective and professional services for a range of varied and high-profile clients such as Network Rail, HS2, and many others. As part of your apprenticeship, you'll study towards a Level 6 qualification in Rail & Rail Systems Engineering with one of our local partner universities.

We're looking for apprentices who are curious and ready to evolve how they think and work.
We are looking for candidates with A Level maths or mathematics-based subject plus at least from physics, physical science, engineering science, computer science, technology, chemistry or other science or technology subject . OR 112 UCAS points including at least 64 points from two A levels or equivalent BTEC. OR DMM in BTEC Extended Diploma in a science or technology-based subject (including passes in mathematics and two other science or technology-based modules).
