What You'll Build

* Contribute to the development of a next-generation data modeling environment based on SAP Datasphere

* Build and optimize scalable data models for various analytics use cases

* Gather requirements and design robust data models and processes

* Help establish data governance standards to ensure quality and consistency

* Collaborate on creating a seamless, AI-enhanced modeling experience

* Drive data-driven decision-making and data democratization across the organization

* Bring new ideas and help evolve data modeling capabilities using latest technologies

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a motivated and curious IT student in the final stage of their studies who is eager to support our department. You should be comfortable taking ownership of tasks, working independently in a distributed team environment, and proactively contributing ideas and improvements.

You are encouraged not only to execute assigned tasks, but also to challenge the status quo, bring your own ideas, and actively contribute to shaping solutions.

* Are in the final stage of their studies (final year or thesis phase) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field

* Are fluent in English (written and spoken), with the confidence to clearly communicate ideas and share results with stakeholders

* Have foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

* Possess basic knowledge of SQL and data querying concepts

* Have a basic understanding of AI-driven data workflows, including automation of data pipelines, metadata management, and intelligent data transformations

* Have initial experience with Agentic AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, or RAG (considered a plus)

* Have some hands-on experience in data modeling (SAP Datasphere preferred)

* Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail

* Are able to work both independently and collaboratively within a distributed, international team

* Show a proactive mindset, taking initiative in proposing ideas and improvements

* Are eager to learn, quickly adapt to new technologies, and actively leverage training and development opportunities provided by SAP

* Take ownership of their personal and professional growth, making the most of available learning resources

* Show a strong eagerness to learn, rapidly adapt to new technologies, and continuously keep up with emerging trends in data and AI
