We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging - but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What you'll do

Are you ready to kickstart your career at the heart of the world's leading enterprise software company? This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of SAP's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), a product that helps businesses to optimize the lifecycle and performance of their physical assets. Picture yourself helping automotive or defense customers with their systems to run efficiently and safely or supporting companies in the energy sector in their transformation to clean energy. As one of the key note products of this year's SAP Sapphire, we are committed to staying at the forefront of innovation, including early adoption of latest trends in technology as well as generative AI capabilities.

This position is an ideal environment for tech enthusiasts eager to solve complex challenges and drive innovation through software development.

As an (Associate) Developer in our team, you will:

* Work with experienced professionals who will guide you through the onboarding process and help you master our development tools, ABAP programing language and cloud technologies. This will ensure that you build up a solid foundation of our products and processes.

* Gain hands-on experience across various stages of the development process, from discussing business requirements and designing solutions to coding, testing and troubleshooting

* Investigate, analyze complex software problems, and resolve critical issues for SAP Private Cloud customers

* Work on the next generation of solutions including the Agent based AI portfolio of our product

* Show initiative and drive topics to resolution on a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.

* Think independently and apply your problem-solving skills.

What you bring

* A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences, or a related field

* First experience with code development

* Experience in one or more programming languages such as ABAP, Python, Java, or C++

* Good communication skills in both German and English are a must due to customer collaboration.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Curiosity and a proactive mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

* Strong verbal, written, and presentation communications skills

* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Tech & Stuff you will learn

* You'll gain in-depth knowledge of SAP's Enterprise Asset Management solutions

* You will become an expert in ABAP and other technologies used in your solution

* You will use AI tools like coding assisting agents in your daily work

* You will have the chance to collaborate closely with high-profile customers, designing and developing the functionality they need.

This role not only offers clear career opportunities, but also the stability and support you need to succeed. You will have the opportunity to become an expert in your field - in a successful organization with an ever-growing customer base.
