The opportunity: your next adventure awaits

EY Canada's General Counsel's Office (GCO) is seeking a motivated Summer Legal & Administrative Intern to support our commercial, compliance, litigation, and employment legal teams. This role is designed for a first, second or third-year university or college student, and no prior legal training is required.

Your key responsibilities:
* Administrative Support (All Teams)

* Manage trackers, document formatting, and file organization.
* Maintain SharePoint/Teams/iManage files and help with document control
* Commercial Legal Team - Standardization

* Assist with contract templates and clause banks.
* Support process documentation, naming conventions, and filing structures.
* Compliance Legal Team - Research

* Conduct desktop research on regulatory issues.
* Prepare research briefs and maintain an indexed repository of findings.
* Litigation Team - Document Management

* Organize case materials and exhibits.
* Maintain timelines and document indexes.
* Employment Team - Coordination

* Support workplace policy updates, training materials, and simple communication drafts.

* Enrolled student at a University or College.
* Completed at least first year of studies.
* Preference given to candidates aspiring to attend law school.

* Proficiency with Microsoft 365; eagerness to learn new tools.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
* Toronto: $23 to $25 per hour
