Job Description:

Number of Position(s): 1
Duration: 4 Months +
Date: September - December 2026
Location: Kanata, Ontario

As part of our team, you will:
* Design and implement RESTful APIs and end-to-end frontend features
* Build and enhance modern web applications using Node.js, Express, and React or Vue.j
* Collaborate on full-stack solutions, from database design (MySQL or similar) to user interface
* Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
* Use Git for version control and actively participate in code reviews troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance and reliability
* Work within a Linux-based development environment
* Apply basic networking knowledge (HTTP, TCP/IP, client-server concepts) to support application functionality

* Participate in UX design discussions and contribute to product improvements
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others

Candidate Requirements:

* Currently a 2nd-year candidate for a bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Networking or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript and e
xperience with modern frontend frameworks (React or Vue.js)
* Basic backend development experience with Node.js and Express-Understanding of REST APIs and web application fundamentals
* Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and responsive design, and f
amiliarity with Git and collaborative
development workflows
* Experience working in Linux-based development or deployment environments
* Basic knowledge of MySQL or other databases
