About the job
As a Regulatory Affairs intern, you will play a key role in promoting the nutritional and health benefits of Danone's portfolio while ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop a claims database, compiling and substantiating the benefits of all Danone products. In addition, you will participate in the regulatory evaluation and classification of Nutricia products, contributing to key decisions that facilitate market access and compliance.
Responsabilities
* Build and structure a centralized database of product claims; Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, legal, regulatory) to understand needs and integrate relevant data.
* Conduct regulatory assessments and classification of Nutricia products under Canadian regulations.
* Support the preparation of internal guidance and documentation related to claims and product classification.
* Gather, structure, and organize Danone's position on several topics of interest.
* Support internal teams with regulatory compliance questions and research.
* Student in a bachelor’s degree in food science and technology, dietetics, or related field.
* Good skills using Microsoft 365 with the ability to analyze, organize, manage, and integrate data from multiple sources into efficient, user-friendly system (e.g. Excel-based databases or SharePoint environment)
* Ability to perform tasks that require concentration and rigor.
* Strong interest in Canadian regulations in the food, food for special dietary use and infant formula sector.
* French & English (spoken and written). Bilingualism is required for this position, as it involves frequent communication with our business units, plants, and business partners located outside Québec.
The base salary range for this position is between $24.97/hour and $28.54/hour. The final salary offered will be determined based by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity, and external market conditions.
