The Role and Impact As an AI Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping cutting-edge AI software solutions that drive innovation across Intel's global operations. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with engineering teams to design and optimize AI software solutions, including algorithms, frameworks, and architectures. - Assist in implementing and tuning AI models for performance, accuracy, and system-level deployment. - Conduct applied research in AI software and hardware/software integration. - Participate in prototyping and proof-of-concept (POC) design to enable scalable AI solutions. - Contribute to secure code development and lifecycle processes. - Review and debug software to ensure quality and performance. - Engage in technical requirement definition and design to align software solutions with Intel business goals. - Partner with internal product teams and external collaborators to deliver innovative AI solutions.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications - Proven programming ability in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks. - Understanding of artificial intelligence fundamentals and machine learning engineering principles. - Proficiency in algorithm development and problem-solving techniques. - Knowledge of microarchitecture fundamentals and technical software modeling. - Exposure to secure code development practices and software debug tools. Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments. - Demonstrated disciplined execution in project management and delivery. - Familiarity with hardware design review for software engineering. - A passion for learning and exploring new technologies and solutions.
