Are you looking for an exciting, hands-on learning opportunity to complement your studies? Are you an ambitious and high-performing student eager to challenge yourself in a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to work with legal operations? Then join us as an Intern in our Strategic Office Team in Global Legal, Intellectual Property & Security (GLIPS), where you'll work alongside experienced colleagues.
Your new role
As a Project Management Intern, you'll support our Strategic Office by driving key legal operations activities, helping ensure strong governance, efficient ways of working, and high-performing support for the broader GLIPS function. You'll be involved in tasks with a high degree of responsibility, manage ad hoc activities related to coordinating operations across the global organization, and help ensure priorities are translated into effective execution.
These responsibilities include:
* Support with effective management of external legal vendors, encompassing onboarding, payment system setup, and the design of streamlined processes for vendor engagement and administration
* Contribute to process and operational efficiency improvements by creating and refining templates and workflows, and by developing and maintaining operational guides and onboarding content that strengthens day-to-day execution
* Facilitate budgeting and spend management by monitoring forecasts, consolidating status updates, and helping ensure cost control and value across legal activities
* Help drive day-to-day operational efforts of the legal department by optimizing how work is executed and identifying new ways of doing the same tasks more effectively
To support your growth, you will be supported by a manager, who will provide feedback on your work and help you maximize your learning journey.
Practical details
The internship period is a minimum of 6 months (with the possibility to extend) and is a full-time internship (37 hours per week). Exam periods will be taken into account.
The start date is 1st of September 2026, and a Danish full-time work permit is required for non-EU citizens.
Your new department
Global Legal, Intellectual Property & Security (GLIPS) is based at Novo Nordisk's headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. We advise and partner with the business on legal, IP and security matters and drive strategic projects across the whole Novo Nordisk value chain. Within GLIPS, the Strategic Office team ensures the execution of strategic priorities in close collaboration with experienced professionals across GLIPS and business. We believe our interns have a lot to contribute with and bring new ways of thinking, which is why we are committed to ensuring you become an integrated part of our teams
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an Intern who want to build practical project management skills and bring a strong analytical mindset to legal operations. You understand that reliable day-to-day execution is the foundation for achieving strategic objectives. You are diligent with deadlines and approach all tasks and processes with a critical, improvement-driven mindset. You are also interested in using AI to make operational tasks faster, more consistent, and easier to manage.
To be successful in this role, you:
* Are pursuing a master's degree in business, business administration, business law, economics, communications, IT or a similar field
* Have strong analytical mindset and technical confidence, including advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel, to structure data and support reporting and decision-making
* Are organised and structured working style with clear, concise communication across stakeholders, and an interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve efficiency
* Are innovative and proactive in optimizing processes: you question how work is done, can identify opportunities for improvement, and help develop a practical plan to implement changes
* Are fluent in spoken and written English
