Within our R&D department dedicated to the development of train interiors, the intern will support projects focused on developing new technical solutions.
The intern will work on various R&D topics related to material database & analytical calculation tools and mechanics. As part of this role, the intern will:
* Develop and structure a material database for engineering applications
* Design analytical calculation methods and validate them against FEA simulations
* Assess limitations and applicability of analytical approaches
* Ensure alignment with R&D requirements and FEA integration
* Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation

We are looking for an intern with the following profile:
* Engineering student (from an engineering school or university), ideally oriented in Materials science or Mechanical engineering or Composites engineering or equivalent
* Knowledge of mechanical design and general mechanics, Composite materials & FEM / FEA tools
* Understanding of project management
* A good level of English is required

The candidate should have a strong interest in innovative solutions and the ability to solve practical problems. He/she should also demonstrate autonomy and rigor.
