Communications Trainee Program Pharmaceuticals (all genders)

Are you interested in joining us as a Communications Trainee?

The program is designed to provide a comprehensive and enriching experience over a two-year period. You will be accompanied by a personal mentor who will guide your development. The program begins with a rotation across various communications disciplines, allowing you to gain diverse insights and experiences. Training elements are tailored to individual needs, and both internal and external exchange formats will foster a collaborative learning environment, broadening your professional network and exposure. You will be working in an international environment and will also have the opportunity to gain experience abroad, with a four-week assignment tailored to your individual needs.

Do something that moves you

Within the Pharmaceuticals Communications team you will work in the fields of Digital Channels as well as Cell and Gene Therapies:

* Gain insights in communication strategies and tools of a global operating company and involvement in a wide range of projects, events and activities

* Create content such as articles, press materials, social media content, video formats, podcasts etc. for various channels

* Support planning and execution of global PR plans/tactics across channels

* Support media relations to shape external perception of Bayer portfolio

* Drive mutual exchange with regional/country communicators to ensure market relevance of global PR tactics

* Support the planning and execution of media interviews and media events

* Collaborating in a cross-functional and international team

* Work in a highly motivated and experienced team as well as together with fellow communication trainees

* Successfully completed studies in Communications or Journalism or similar studies related to business or politics

* First practical job experience in content management and or content creation in combination with project management skills

* Strong interest, first experiences or background in life sciences is a plus

* Strong interest in emerging AI technologies and digital trends

* Knowledge in social media and influencer engagement, with the ability to effectively manage and utilize these platforms for communication

* Ability to create personalized and engaging content tailored to diverse audience segments

* Experience in data-driven decision-making, utilizing analytics to measure and enhance the effectiveness of communication strategies

* Good communication skills, high adaptability and a hands-on attitude

* Creativity, initiative and energy, self-dependent person, and team player

* Excellent command of written and spoken English; German or further languages are of advantage
