NMP NEF-NEP trainee

Job Description:

NMP solution team is responsible for resolving bugs received for already released products. As a trainee, we would like you to make the work of experienced engineers easier and smoother. By implementing and verifying solutions based on the product experience they solve.
Position: NMP NEF-NEP trainee
Duration: 6 months contract with potencial renewal
Start date (tentative): Spring 2026
Location: Hybrid in Budapest, Hungary

What you will learn and contribute to
The mission of the Nokia Cloud and Network Services Core Engineering NEX (NEtwork eXposure) R&D department is to exploit the exposure of Core Network APIs. We focus on 5G NEF (Network Exposure Function) and the open API ecosystem, which provides an API gateway and ecosystem for Nokia and third-party applications. * Create and maintain software documentation

* Responsible for transferring resolved fixes and updating the related documentation to the next product version due
* Implement and test bugs resolved by senior engineers
* Later gradually define and fix bugs with help, then independently
* Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
* Follow emerging technologies

Candidate Requirements:

University education in IT
Reliable, precise work
Intermediate English proficiency
Programming skills (knowledge of Golang is an advantage)
Knowledge of Git/Gitlab is an advantage
