AI Product Engineer Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate AI Product Engineer Intern to join our team and help build AI-driven features, prototypes, and internal tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of AI/ML, product development, and engineering, and wants hands-on experience in building AI-powered applications.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to assist in designing, developing, and testing AI solutions that improve our products and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in building and integrating AI/ML models into product features.
* Support the development of AI prototypes, POCs, and automation tools.
* Work on data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis for model training.
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python/JavaScript code for AI modules.
* Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical tasks.
* Conduct research on emerging AI technologies, LLMs, and frameworks.
* Participate in debugging, performance optimization, and model evaluation.
* Support the creation of documentation for AI features and experiments.

Required Skills & Qualifications
* Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
* Strong understanding of Python and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
* Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and pipelines.
* Understanding of REST APIs and basic product development workflows.
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Good to Have
* Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning.
* Experience with ML Ops tools (e.g., Docker, FastAPI, Flask).
* Familiarity with AI frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
* Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
* Basic experience with frontend or backend development
