Role Overview We are looking for highly motivated students pursuing Cost and Management Accounting to join HSBC as interns. This internship provides hands-on exposure to financial planning, cost analysis, and business partnering within a global banking environment. The role offers an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts in a real-world setting while gaining insights into financial decision-making in a large, complex organization. Key Responsibilities * Support in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities * Assist in preparation of management reports and financial dashboards * Work on variance analysis to identify trends and cost optimization opportunities * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business performance drivers * Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within finance * Support ad-hoc projects related to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) Eligibility Criteria * Pursuing CMA (Inter/Final) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India * Graduation is compulsory * Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost management concepts * Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of data tools is a plus * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills What You'll Gain * Exposure to global banking * Hands-on experience in cost management and financial analysis * Opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders * Mentorship from experienced finance professionals Qualifications - Internal Minimum Graduation or as required for the role, whichever is higher.
