Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
In the Platform Analysis (PLA) team, the Product Engineers contribute to the development and production support for Automotive applications. They do this by analyzing eNVM design and technology, generating test sequences and automated testing patterns, and providing data analysis to support quality, cost, and yield objectives. Additionally, they focus on strengthening testing concepts for embedded memories and improving workflow automation to enhance project deliverables and mitigate complexity. This team is looking for two Product Engineering Master's students, and you can join either of the following projects:

* Thesis Main Scope: Creation of a machine learning model for automatic generation of multi-platform executable test flows based on test specification documentation.
* Model Training Data: The model must be trained with historical data of test specifications (human-readable documents detailing each test and conditions) and test flows (machine-readable sequences of tests to be executed in automated test equipment)
* Deliverables: Documentation of the generated tool and validation of the generated tool or

* Thesis Main Scope: Improve the existing toolchain by applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and developing new features to increase efficiency and productivity in engineering project development.
* Proposed Enhancements to the Current Toolchain:
* Pattern Recognition on Bitmaps: Develop an algorithm for recognizing patterns on bitmaps, integrating this functionality into internal tools
* Graphical User Interface (GUI) for Test Library and Command Management: Design and implement a GUI that allows users to invoke specific test commands and display results in a graphical format
* Automatic Reviewer of Flows: Develop an automatic reviewer to ensure the correctness and consistency of test flows
* Conversion of Production Flows from Different Automated Test Equipment: Develop a tool to convert production flows, replacing the Perl language with Python, and enabling management of multiple devices simultaneously

You demonstrate strong teamwork skills and are able to communicate effectively with both your team members and a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you possess a high degree of independence in problem solving, allowing you to address challenges efficiently and proactively.

* Education: Pursuing a Master's Thesis in Computer Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics, Electrical engineering, or a similar field
* Experience: Knowledge of AI and Machine learning
* Working Style: You have excellent communication skills, you take responsibility, and deliver high-quality service
* Programming and scripting tools: Python and other tools and languages are valued
