Junior Fine Art Underwriter - Intern

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated talent to join our Italian Team of ARTE Generali as an Intern - Junior Fine Art Underwriter. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance market, with a focus on Fine Art, while working in a dynamic and international environment.
You will support the team in underwriting activities, risk assessment, and operational processes, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services to distributors and key stakeholders.

Main responsabilities:
* Assist in underwriting activities related to Fine Art insurance, including document collection and analysis
* Support operational implementation and use of digital platforms for portfolio and collection management
* Contribute to the development of risk assessment tools in collaboration with internal and external partners
* Prepare presentations and summary documents for internal decision-making and commercial partners
* Collaborate on initiatives for private clients, public institutions, foundations, and corporate art collections
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting using Microsoft Office tools

Candidate Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Art History, Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or related fields
* Previous project or internship experiences in a related field during University studies are a plus
* Fluent in Italian and English (minimum B2 level)
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail
* Problem-solving attitude and proactive approach
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
