Internship Business Process Excellence (BPE)

Job Description:

THE INTERNSHIP

We are currently looking for an Intern who will join the Business Process Excellence Manager to support the implementation of Lean Methodologies and Continuous Improvement programs at site level.

We offer a 6 months internship with a possible 6-months extension

Tasks & what you will be learning:

* Support the implementation of the methodology and help collect and analyze improvement ideas with business functions;
* Analyze and process data for the development of cross-functional improvement projects and support the optimization of information and materials flow along departments;
* Support the mapping processes and activities, identifying and implementing improvement solutions with the application of Lean Manufacturing methodology;
* Support working groups in the development of projects;
* Provide support to the relevant functions in the implementation of improvement actions of application systems;
* Develop 5S in operating areas;
* At least theoretical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies not limited to: Standardized Work, Process Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, VSM, OEE, 5S, Visual Management, Poka Yoke, SMED, War on Waste, Kaizen Event;

Requirements:

* Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or related degree;
* Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge would be considered a plus;
* Good Excel knowledge;
* Fluent English level and Native level of Italian language;
* Positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational and time management skills;
* Analytical skills and negotiation skills;
* Good Team Work and Goal oriented;
