AI Product management Internship

Job Description:

Innovation & AI Forge team oversees the development of projects and transformational initiatives in the AI and smart process automation space for Generali Asset Management, collaborating with several departments in the organization. It is taking care of the full life cycle of the solutions from the preliminary assessments till the industrialization of the AI and smart automation solutions.

We are looking for a AI Product management Intern to join the Innovation & AI Forge team. The candidate will contribute to Generali Asset Management transformation journey to become a data and technology led company through the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The candidate will take part in Innovation projects at different stages of their maturity, from experimentation to fully productive solutions, having the opportunity to gain knowledge on AI applications, implementation, and delivery in the asset management business, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet user needs and business goals. He/She will have the occasion to support in the onboarding of clients for Innovation & AI digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support in defining and communicating a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with strategic objectives
* Support in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements through market research, user feedback, and data analysis
* Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of high-quality product releases
* Gain knowledge on the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of features and improvements
* Monitor product performance and user engagement
* Organize dedicated sessions to promote broader adoption of the tool
* Contribute to identify and evaluate external technology solutions and partnerships

Candidate Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development cycles
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar

Nice to have:
* Familiarity with AI/ML-driven products or digital platforms
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
* Adaptability, proactive, "can-do" attitude
