Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Technician (m/f/x)

Job Description:

For our department Training MTC within LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):

Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Technician (m/f/x)

Main duties:

* Perform under supervision maintenance on Aircraft and Aircraft parts
* Keep the "on-the-job-training" logbook for the Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License updated
* Prepare and realize successfully the 1st Type rating on one of Luxairs fleet aircraft according to internal and legal regulations in force
* Provide regular feedback on job progress, discovered defects and encountered problems to the directly concerned persons
* Ensure that working documents are completed with necessary information's according to internal procedures in force
* Raise deficiency reports
* Occasionally assure on demand a support to the concerned department if proper instructions or training were received

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

* Be holder of a "Diplôme Technicien" given by the Lycée Technique Privé Emile Metz and the Ministry of Education of Luxembourg or equivalent as per article L.222-4 of the "Code du Travail"
* Be prepared to work in a team and irregular shifts
* Accept Duty Travel
* Be familiar with standard office applications
* Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)

* Show good organizational skills
* Show a good sense of priorities
* Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
* Show the ability for clear expression in writing
* Attend and pass successfully all mandatory trainings according to the area of activity
* Show user skills in the tools used in LG Technics
* Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data

The ideal candidate:

* Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
