About the Role
Join us as a Data Science Intern and contribute to transforming semiconductor manufacturing through data-driven innovation. The intern will work closely with our data science team to analyze complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and contribute to improving our products and services. This hands-on experience will provide valuable exposure to real-world data science projects, helping the intern develop skills and knowledge in the field while making a meaningful impact on our organization.
Your Role
* Collaborate with the data science team to develop and implement manufacturing dashboards, as well as pre-process, analyze, and visualize complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
* Participate in the design, execution, and validation of experiments, simulations, and tests to refine models and algorithms, ensuring adherence to data privacy and security guidelines.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, develop data-driven solutions, and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Stay up to date with the latest data science techniques and best practices, actively participate in team discussions, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Ensure compliance with data privacy and security guidelines throughout all processes.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineers and process experts to understand their data needs and develop effective data-driven solutions.
Your Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and collaboration skills.
* Business proficiency in English.
Your Technical Requirements
* Familiarity with data processing on SQL databases.
* Proficiency in Python programming.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Tibco Spotfire.
Exposure and Skills to be Gained
* Experience with end-to-end data science workflows, including data acquisition, preprocessing, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
* Exposure to advanced algorithms for anomaly detection and machine learning applications relevant to manufacturing.
* Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
* Hands-on experience working with proprietary semiconductor datasets that are not publicly available.
* Practical skills in developing dashboards for semiconductor manufacturing environments.
