About the role

We are seeking a driven student passionate about cinema and digital media to intern with our marketing team located at our office in Mexico City. In this internship, you will produce creative content, curate a locally resonant social media agenda, and gain valuable hands-on experience. If you are enthusiastic about social media and eager to dive into the world of marketing, we want to hear from you.

Where you'll have impact:

* Ensuring MUBI's social media content remains culturally relevant within the Mexican landscape.
* Cutting film clips used to promote our programming
* Supporting our social team with community interaction and asset creation
* Developing ideas and strategies for content marketing initiatives
* Liaising with external partners to amplify MUBI and deliver related materials
* Researching and reporting on competitive trends in the marketplace
* Covering other day-to-day tasks as they arise

What you will bring:

* You are a current student of cinema, communications, media or related fields.
* Proficient video editor experienced with Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as a personal computer to run relevant software
* Organized and resourceful learner with strong writing ability
* Familiar with and committed to independent and international film
* Well-versed in social media and up-to-date on digital trends
* Interested in understanding the industry landscape

Compensation: monthly stipend
Term: 6 months
