Job Description:
About the job
Are you passionate about data analysis, food science, and product performance? Are you a student with a background in food technology, nutrition, or engineering? We have an exciting opportunity as a Product Design & Development Intern.
Our team's mission is to improve product understanding and ensure consistent quality of SN liquid products globally, focusing on viscosity data analysis, method alignment, and performance relevance.
In your role as Product Design & Development Intern, being part of the Specialized Nutrition R&I team, your key responsibilities are:
* Supporting the FST laboratory in defining appropriate product physical properties related to viscosity for the ONS portfolio
* Collecting, consolidating, and reviewing viscosity data from different factories
* Investigating variability using different measurement methods (e.g. Brookfield, Anton Paar)
* Assessing whether viscosity is the most relevant parameter to demonstrate product superiority and providing recommendations for the SN Crème category
* Supporting the harmonization of methods and equipment
Ultimately, you will play a key role in defining target values and acceptable viscosity ranges for product release, contributing directly to product quality and consistency.
Key requirements:
* Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Food Sciences or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
* Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
* For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
* Available to start in May for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
* Able to work from our Utrecht office at least 3 days per week.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with projects related to viscosity, as well as sensory and physical properties, is a plus." descriptionHeader="
