Summer Business Analyst Intern - Tech & AI

Job Description:

You will join a consulting team for a six-to-eight-week period during June and July, where you will contribute to solving our clients' most critical challenges.

We work closely with our clients to create scalable value through technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Our clients include some of the world's most influential organizations, ranging from large global corporations to innovative start-ups.

You will tackle significant challenges while we accelerate your professional growth. You will design solutions for today's most critical strategic challenges, driving long-term transformations. You will work side-by-side with our clients on-site, helping them maximize the potential of data and AI to solve critical business problems, refine their strategies, and execute complex transformations.

You will develop AI-driven solutions, modernize technology infrastructures, optimize and automate processes, drive digital growth, and empower teams to effectively adopt AI and digital technologies.

You will combine research, data analysis, interviews, and ideation sessions to generate valuable insights and design innovative solutions.

By equipping our clients with the right tools and capabilities, you will ensure our projects continue to drive innovation and continuous improvement long after completion, creating a lasting impact. In doing so, you will contribute to McKinsey's purpose of making a meaningful difference across industries and society as a whole

Candidate Requirements:

* Currently in your last year of an undergraduate or first year of master's degree in a technical, scientific, or business/economics/analytics disciplines, demonstrating a strong interest in or affinity for Artificial Intelligence, technology, or digital transformation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven, fact-based decision-making and structured logical reasoning
* Outstanding academic and professional track record, with notable achievements both within and outside of your studies
* Ability to develop high-quality project materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, articles, or other high-impact written documents
* Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including the capacity to approach and complete tasks autonomously
* Ability to work or attend meetings outside of traditional business hours or take on projects with limited or no notice at times
* Ability to travel to and work in varying environments that may be challenging and/or not accessible (e.g., factories, hospitals, mines)
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with excellent fluency in both Portuguese and English
