Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Intern specializing in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will assist with research projects that involve the development and improvement of chemical products and processes. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced research environment and contribute to exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data to evaluate product performance and stability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and chemists to optimize existing products and develop new ones.
- Prepare samples and assist in the characterization of new compounds using various analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy).
- Document experimental procedures and results accurately in lab notebooks and electronic databases.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress to the team.
- Conduct literature reviews to stay current on advancements in chemical R&D relevant to ongoing projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, following safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry principles.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques, equipment, and instrumentation used in chemical analysis and synthesis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with laboratory data analysis tools is a plus.
- Effective problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
