Data Engineer Internship (Part-time)

► Support the core Data Platform (PT Data Hub) team by taking over operational duties, particularly in the morning hours before our Daily meetings. Required to monitor and basic coding adjustments on our 70 active data pipelines in the PT Data Hub
► Benefit of this setup is that it would relieve senior team members from repetitive operational tasks and provide essential buffer capacity.
► Estimated work schedule: 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday, mornings 8:00-12:00 CET
► Expected daily participation is to join our Daily meetings; no participation in other meetings
► Pipeline monitoring:
► Track data pipeline runs
► Identify root causes of failures, rerun pipelines, perform basic bug fixes/coding, and create/assign bugs to the responsible data engineer
► Cost and performance monitoring:
► Escalate findings to the team
► Reporting - share identified issues during Daily meetings and track progress
► Access management: Assign access rights to stakeholders and new team members

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications

► Student in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a related technical field with a strong affinity for IT
► Basic knowledge of Python and SQL coding skills
► Strong curiosity, ambition, and motivation to continuously develop skills, particularly in Data Engineering with Databricks and Azure Platform
► You have very good English skills
