Aufgaben

Mercedes-Benz is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Intern to join our team for a six-month internship commencing in July to December 2026. This role offers an exciting opportunity to embark on a journey into data-driven innovation and agile project execution within a fast-paced, global environment. The internship provides hands-on exposure to advanced data platforms, involvement in strategic initiatives, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
As an intern, you will gain practical experience in the following areas:
1.Data Analytics
* Understand the overall data landscape for Mercedes-Benz in the Region Overseas Market, including data ingestion, data transformation, data modelling, reporting and data science.
* Prepare an overall view of the data landscape and suggest automations or improvements wherever possible.
* Gain hands-on experience with MS Azure services used in the platform.
* Gain an understanding of the data governance aspects of the data platform and prepare a report.
2.Project Management
* Participate in daily stand-up and scrum sessions.
* Assist in preparing and maintaining online collaboration tools (e.g. SharePoint Confluence, Jira).
* Create and manage project-relevant documentation (e.g. Presentations, Visio diagrams, etc.).
* Assist in mitigating any projects impediments during the agile process.
* Learn about Mercedes-Benz Agile methodology and project-specific topics.
3.Administrative Coordination
* Participate and assist in relevant events, workshops, meetings and team activities, including any preparation materials needed.
* Support team strategic activities related to reporting, 'Nest Best (NBx)', analytics use cases and Data Lake.
* Provide ad-hoc support, including documentation and follow-up on team topics for the region or any specific markets to ensure timelines are met.
4. Technical Aspects - Supporting Role of MB technical team
* Data modelling, application development in pyspark, code catalog in python, azure DevOps and general data engineering on databricks
* Data analysis with SQL

Qualifikationen

* Undergraduates pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or any related field (IT-relevant study field preferred).
* Highly motivated independent and reliable team player, with positive working and learning attitude.
* Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
* Knowledgeable in project management, IT solution lifecycles, and data analytics/big data will be an added advantage.
* Experience with MS Azure, including Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
* Exposure to Python is a plus
