Grab's Corporate Security team safeguards our people, facilities, and operations across Southeast Asia. Our team manages physical security, investigations, incident and crisis response, travel safety, and security training-working cross-functionally to reduce risk and keep our workplaces safe, compliant, and resilient.
Get to Know the Role
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
The trainee will be based in Singapore and will support the Corporate Security team in ensuring a safe, secure workplace. Over the traineeship, the role will offer you the chance to work on projects that make a difference in creating secure environments for Grabbers to operate in.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
* System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design security systems tailored to organisational needs, including surveillance systems and related technologies.
* Project Implementation: Assist the implementation, installation, and commissioning of surveillance systems to ensure functionality and integration.
* Maintenance and Testing: Assist to develop maintenance and testing regimes to ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely.
* Installations and Relocations: Ensure all security system installations, upgrades, and relocations are conducted within agreed timelines and with minimal disruption.
* Work with the Operations Management Center (OMC) to define system requirements and oversee implementation processes

What Essential Skills You Will Need
* Preferred: Polytechnic diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant coursework accepted.
* You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.
